WHY THE CTA IS THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF YOUR WEBSITE

Posted by Susan Block on Oct 14, 2017 2:14:02 PM

Call To Action Buttons (CTAs) on your website help direct users to specific content.  CTAs can:

  • Get viewers to them to take a specific action such as requesting more information or requesting a complimentary portfolio review

  • Direct people to important content within your website

  • Encourage them to sign up for your quarterly newsletter

Call To Action ButtonsWhen creating your CTAs think creatively.  Boring language will do little to grab a readers attention. Instead of using "click here" consider more action-oriented language like, "show me more of the planning process."

Also, more and more people are viewing your website on their mobile devices so make sure your Call to Action button is large enough to be easily accessed on a phone or tablet.

Reading about Call To Actions isn't the same as seeing them.  We've selected a few creative CTAs  from our partner, HubSpot, to help you get started creating actionable CTAs for your team's website.
